A little about me: I’m a certified Disney Adult, I won’t watch movies where the dog dies, and I may have a slight cheese addiction. Born and raised in Texas but now calling Ohio home, I’m happily married to my husband and fellow Disney Adult, Mike. I’m a proud step-mom to four human kids, and a dog mom to four fur-kids.

When I’m not at Disney (or talking about Disney, or thinking about Disney, or wishing I were at Disney…), you can find me belting out my favorite showtunes, binge-watching crime documentaries, or tackling DIY projects around the house. I’m a bit of an introvert, but put me in a Disney park, and I’m like a kid again, completely in my element.

I was 11 years old the first time I went to Disney World with my family. I was lucky enough to return twice more as a child with my high school marching band. But my first trip as an adult? That’s when everything changed. I found myself loving the anticipation and planning just as much as the trip itself, digging into the rides, resorts, and snacks, and building the perfect itinerary. Once I was back in the Disney bubble, something clicked. The stress and noise of everyday life faded, and for the first time in a long time, I felt completely at ease. That’s the moment I realized this wasn’t just a vacation. It was something I wanted to help other people experience, too.

My lifelong passion for travel inspired me to become a Professional Travel Planner. In 2024, I launched Suitcases & Sunshine to help clients plan unforgettable getaways, from cruises and all-inclusive resorts to theme park vacations and European adventures. As my business grew, I saw how much my clients loved Disney (just like me), so I created Mouse Ears & Magic Travel Co.: a dedicated Disney vacation planning service under the Suitcases & Sunshine umbrella.

This is my passion project, where I take all the stress and confusion out of planning your Disney trip so you can focus on the fun.
